When you think of the words love yourself what comes to mind? I must admit that I didn’t practice this love of yourself for many years until I bumped into a wake-up call experience. When I look into my childhood background the people in charge of me did not practice loving themselves instead they practiced pleasing others which lead me into a journey of looking for love outside of myself when I became an adult.
When you look for love outside of yourself you are looking for someone to be in control of your happiness and anything of value to you. It is too much power to give over to someone the power to be in charge of your destiny, values, desires and goals in life. I admit that life has thrown me some wide awakening experiences that had led on a journey to practice maximum self-love.
The experiences I have fallen into have opened up my eyes and made me realize that there is more to life than looking outside of yourself for love. Everything we want in life is within our reach , we just have to tap into it and act upon what it is we want to manifest into our life. One of the ways I practice loving myself is eating healthy wholesome foods because my body is a temple that I am living in until my last breath.
I believe that one of the best ways of practicing loving yourself is to start with some healthy eating program like metabolic balance.
